Here's a fairy house dress for my 8 month old Susanna!
stitchmakery
Here we have a mama of 2, waiting on #3, learning to sew. I am determined to teach myself while I'm waiting on baby girl. This is the result of some furious sewing in action.

some fun things I made today
I cut off a 9 month onesie bottom, hemmed it, then sewed on the milkman patch. The other 2 are newborn tees that needed some pizazz.

washing instructions
a quick note on the best way to wash and dry these dresses, in order to avoid having to iron them, and so that the elastic (if there is any in your dress) lives a longer life.
Wash normally, then hang on the line or a hanger or over the back of a chair to dry. They dry super fast! If you smooth the fabric out with your hands while wet, straight out of the washer, there will be no wrinkles. If there is elastic thread in your dress, then yes, someday, like all elastic in any clothing, it will die (become unstretchy). So, put this death off, by not drying the dress in the dryer. Elastic + dryer=very sad.
So that is it!
In short: hang dry your stuff after smoothing it with your hand. yay!

nature girl shirred dress
Leaves and more leaves. Stretchy, shirred bodice, adjustable shoulder straps, and can also be a skirt for an older nature girl. This one came out really well. Probably because I made it over coffee and conversation with an old friend. Thanks Red!
Just listed it this morning:
